For this project, a collective of performers, writers and composers was formed, with a foundation in different disciplines and backgrounds. By sharing stories, learning songs and movements, exchanging skills in workshops and through online channels, the basis was built for this production. The makers' team gave their ideas to the performers, who in return came up with a plethora of visions and creations. The performance can justifiably be called a collective work, which was created through parallel timelines and from different disciplines. All this comes together in a final pressure cooker assembly and rehearsal period leading up to the performances in ITA. There, the audience will surround the performers, and in turn, be surrounded by rituals of mourning and joy: the result of this massive project.
